Over the years, I’ve cultivated a deeper, more human connection with technology—recognising both its immense potential and the challenges it presents. I truly empathise with the frustration many experience when technology doesn’t work seamlessly, especially when it plays such a critical role in both business and daily life. This perspective is rare but invaluable, allowing me to work closely with our clients to navigate complexities and deliver the best solutions for their needs.

In my experience, I’ve learned that the key differentiator is always clear communication. IT isn’t just about solving technical issues; it’s about building trust. Technology should empower people, not create barriers. That’s why I prioritise transparency, responsiveness, and solutions that are genuinely aligned with and supportive of a business’s goals.

Three adjectives to describe myself

I would describe myself as empathetic, attentive, and compassionate. While these traits may seem similar, they truly reflect my core values: a genuine ability to listen, understand, and support others. As a team player and a strategic thinker, I am deeply committed to fostering collaboration and building strong relationships. Above all, I take pride in my ability to partner with clients, ensuring I not only meet their needs but also understand their challenges to deliver meaningful, thoughtful solutions.

Background

For 13 years, I ran a small construction company and worked closely with a Managed Service provider to ensure smooth operations. Prior to that, I was second-in-command at a large English school in Tokyo where I collaborated frequently with an external IT team to maintain an in-house communications portal for staff. This hands-on experience gave me a unique perspective on the vital role technology plays in business and helps reassure clients from specific industries that their needs will be well-understood.

Technical Skills

While my strength lies in understanding people and the importance of clear communication, I also bring a growing proficiency in key technologies that help businesses run smoothly. I have expertise in areas like troubleshooting systems, collaborating with external IT teams, and ensuring seamless user experiences. My focus is on understanding both the technical and human sides of technology—how it impacts people and how clear communication can make all the difference in resolving issues and driving success.

Security and Risk Management

In today’s digital landscape, it’s increasingly rare to find someone who hasn’t been impacted by a security breach. That’s why prevention is my top priority. This commitment not only reflects WebPal’s core value but also ensures the protection of our clients and their valuable data.
