Before joining WebPal, my diverse customer service roles equipped me with a strong foundation in technical support, problem-solving, and communication, all of which are essential in my current IT role. At the National Australian Bank (NAB) as a Merchant Service Advisor,this experience allowed me to develop strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of technical systems, which I now apply when supporting WebPal’s clients. My dedication to providing exceptional customer service was recognised through the NAB Reach Award, which underscored my commitment to resolving issues effectively and ensuring client satisfaction.
In addition to my role at NAB, I worked part-time as a Department Manager at McDonald’s, leading a team of 90+ employees across multiple stores in the South East region. This role enhanced my leadership and communication skills. These experiences have translated well into my IT role, as they have sharpened my ability to manage teams, handle customer needs efficiently, and ensure smooth operations.
Before moving to Australia, I worked at a brokerage firm, where I led market research efforts and supported strategic decision-making. This experience in research and analysis further strengthens my data-driven approach at WebPal, ensuring that I can approach technical issues from an analytical perspective. Additionally, overseeing the development of the company website gave me valuable insight into ensuring user-friendly solutions and effective outcomes.
